*Semi-Auto weapons with a maximum fire rate of 1200 will fire as fast as you pull the trigger.  However, if you fire consistently for 2 or 3 magazines faster than around 500 RPM, the game will lock the fire rate all the way down to about 60 RPM.  This is an anti-cheat mechanism to combat the use of modded controllers.

 

**The M1 Garand does 70% damage at all ranges with the scope; essentially making it a semi-auto sniper rifle.  The headshot modifier becomes 1.5x, the neck and chest modifier becomes 1.1x.  This makes it a one shot kill weapon in those areas of the body (see Sniper Rifles below).

 

The Gewehr is pronounced "Gah Vehr".

The SMG class overall dominates weapon usage in W@W.  Easily, 9 out of 10 people in W@W use SMGs.  There are advantages for using other classes, and because so many people use SMGs, it is easy enough to find one to use as your back-up weapon.

 

The MP40 for some odd reason does 50/29 damage even though it shoots only a 9mm round.  The Walther pistol in W@W shoots the same exact round and only does 40/20 damage. It should be less powerful than the Thompson that shoots the .45 APC round (an 11mm round).  It is only powered up to this extreme on the console version the game (the PC version it does 40/29 damage - which ends up making it fairly well balanced with the other SMGs).  It is widely known as the most over-powered "noob gun" in the game.  It is also one of the main reasons people say the guns in W@W are imbalanced.  It's main downsides are that it's rate of fire is relatively slow, and it has more recoil than the other SMGs.  You really don't need to use stopping power with it, and therefore can use perks like "slight of hand" or "camouflage".   Long story short, the MP40 is in fact overpowered.  It's overpowered even within the SMG class, which in itself is overpowed for the most part compared to the other gun classes.
